Freeway tells the story of Artie Dison and a group of musicians brought together with a shared purpose. Formed in California in 1979, the band blended soulful grooves, jazz influences and powerful horn arrangements into a sound that stood apart from the contemporary Christian music scene.

After years of live performances and outreach, the group recorded their debut album in 1981 for New Born Records (NB 7030). Although their journey together was short, the music captured a rare energy that continues to connect with listeners today.

This 45th Anniversary Edition celebrates the album's return to vinyl — its first pressing since 1981 — with newly created liner notes, rare photographs and the story behind one of independent music's hidden treasures.

Limited to 350 copies worldwide, with 250 pressed on black vinyl and 100 on dark marble effect vinyl.
